Qawwali is een eeuwenoude vorm van soefistische religieuze muziek uit Zuid-Azië. De term "qawwali" staat voor de zang van een qawwāl, iemand die herhaaldelijk een qaul (Arabisch: قَوْل, uitspraak van de profeet Mohammed) zingt.
